Ensure your wine stays at the perfect temperature with our sustainable thermal packaging solutions.
Our thermal packaging solutions ensure your wine maintains its ideal temperature during transit, preserving its quality and flavour. With options like wine sleeves and insulated shippers, you can trust that your products arrive in perfect condition.
Wine sleeves
Wine sleeves offer great protection for your bottles, keeping them safe during transport and storage. These covers shield wine from temperature changes and guard against breakage and spills. Using wine sleeves enhances the longevity and quality of your vintages while adding elegance to your collection. Whether for personal use or as a gift, wine sleeves are essential for any wine lover.
Wine protector
Wine Protector enhances our existing box solutions with an added insulated fibre blanket, available in wool or recycled denim, to deliver increased thermal protection and cushioning during transit.
The insulated liner creates an additional barrier against external temperature fluctuations while also helping absorb impact and reduce the risk of breakage. This added layer of protection is particularly valuable in direct-to-consumer delivery, where parcels may be exposed to weather or left unattended.
By combining robust carton design with natural or recycled fibre insulation, Wine Protector helps safeguard product quality, presentation and customer experience, from dispatch through to delivery.
Let’s tailor your wine protector solution
Every wine shipment is different. From cellar door dispatch to national distribution, we design thermal packaging configurations that protect quality, reduce breakage risk and align with your sustainability goals.

Wool fibers effectively absorb moisture from the air, reducing humidity and condensation to maintain stable temperatures. Encased in a food-grade film, these fibers can breathe, creating a natural cooling system. When used with ice packs, Woolpack insulation has been proven to keep contents packed at 1°C chilled below 5°C for at least 48 hours. Pharma Protector and Pharma+ packaging have been scientifically proven to maintain pharmaceuticals within the critical 2°C – 8°C range for 24 to over 72 hours. Longer durations can be achieved with customized wool thicknesses and configurations.
After obtaining raw wool, it is naturally washed and scoured using only boiling hot water and soap. The wool is then manufactured into insulation material according to required specifications, cut into lengths, and sealed within recyclable or compostable film.
Yes, the natural washing and scouring process is free from chemical additives, ensuring the wool is sterilized without introducing toxic components. Sealing the liner inside recyclable or compostable film prevents fibers from contacting your products directly. There is no risk of Woolpack imparting a wool smell or tainting your products.
While Planet Protector has not conducted independent testing for frozen goods, multiple customers have tested and currently use the product for such purposes. As different products freeze differently, it’s recommended to conduct your own testing on samples before integrating Woolpack into your frozen supply chain.
